Where have you gone; why did you go?

I’m saddened by this and I want you to know.

I read all your poems; no matter the amount,

And now is when I see you’ve closed your account.

Why did you go without saying goodbye?

I thought we were friends; was that just a lie?

Your words were so beautiful and truly sublime,

I was lost in your lines and your enviable rhyme.

And now you are gone without even a word,

You made my heart soar; I know it’s absurd.

Your page is now closed; I’ve got no one to blame,

“Poetic” was just your booksie pen name.

You’re one of a kind; a writer who’s true,

And it was truly a pleasure talking to you.

Although you can’t see this or even address,

Poetic, my friend, I wish you the best.
