How often have yo seen the sun when its making its last stand; sinking below the horizon; and you then darkness falls. Here's a little poem.

The sun waving goodbye,

Setting below the horizon.

Leaving me asking,''Why?''

Is the day already done.

Darkness creeps up,

Like a black blanket.

The rain falls; it doesn't stop,

It's not midnight yet.

Kids wrapped up in bed,

With a safety net over head.

Outside, it's a place unwanted,

Eerie like it's haunted.
