When he heard her steps, he started breathing fast and became uncontrollably restless. She’s coming! The door opened and he could finally see her face. He loved her, she was his queen. Every time she left home, his world crumbled and the only thing he could do was to fall asleep as fast as possible. She always came back. Like now.

But wait, what?! Who is that? He saw a tall, dark man walking behind her. He growled. Doesn’t she love him anymore? She barely noticed him today, fully focused on her visitor. They entered the living room together, closing the door firmly behind them.

He was devastated. With the tail tucked between his legs, he lied down under the stairs and fell asleep.
