Nosferatu glared at the spearman in black armor who stood before him as he said, “You must be the infamous Beelzebub, right? The man who slew Asgard and stole the spear of its king.” Beelzebub leaned down and chuckled before saying, “I figured as much, that you're the one he heard that from.” After he said that, Beelzebub stood upright, leaning on his spear as he stared at Nosferatu with a light smirk.

“Who?” Nosferatu asked Beelzebub, his eyes slowly widening as it dawned on him who he meant. “Your boy, who else? He seemed so ready to shit his pants as soon as he laid eyes on me, It took everything I had not to laugh at him.” Beelzebub broke out in laughter as he said that last part, angering Nosferatu to the point that he snapped at the demon, saying, “What did you do with him?!”, Raising Firebrand and pointing it's blade at him. Beelzebub snickered a bit and pulled his spear from the ground after he stopped leaning on it. He started to pace back and forth while tapping it on his own shoulder as he said, “Well for starters, I stabbed him in the heart, right in front of his friends. I then proceeded to toss his frostbitten remains at those companions, who fled in fear after I stabbed Oberon through the heart.”

Beelzebub stopped pacing, turning his head nonchalantly to face Nosferatu and said “...That's what you expected me to say right?” Beelzebub turned the rest of his body to face Nosferatu and continued, “I have to commend you, you've got a brave kid. I’d like to face him on the battlefield one day, especially since he gave me this…” Stopping himself Mid-sentence, Beelzebub leaned toward Nosferatu and pointed at a cut going from the middle of his cheek toward his ear, “Not many people have gotten a wound in on me and lived to tell the tale.”

Nosferatu smirked, his weapon still at the ready, as he said, “Ah, so is that why you’ve come here? Beaten by the child, so the father is expected to pay? Hmm, and here I thought you were slaughtering my men for a good reason.” The spear-wielding demon scoffed as he replied, “I was sent here by the kid you so mercilessly kicked around, but I suppose I had another reason.” Beelzebub’s face slowly became stern as it faced Nosferatu, “To put it bluntly, I’ve got a bone to pick with you. These men didn’t need to involve themselves, but they stood in my way and threw away their lives to delay my spear piercing your heart.”

“Hah, that's a new one. Beelzebub, worried about the lives of enemy soldiers? You honestly expect me to believe you've become a sentimental sap?”, Said Nosferatu in an attempt to goad a reaction out of Beelzebub. Beelzebub reacted with a “Hmph” and said, “I suppose that was a bit too weak of an attempt… Oh well. You'll figure it out soon enough…!” Without much warning, Beelzebub gripped his spear and lunged at Nosferatu, who gripped Firebrand’s handle with both hands. Beelzebub stabbed his spearhead down at the Vampire King who used his blade to defend against the attack, causing the Demon to slide harmlessly to the side against Firebrand. Once close enough, Nosferatu slammed the flat end of the Crimson blade into Beelzebub, flinging him away from the King.

“Gah-!”, Beelzebub let this noise out as he flipped to regain his balance, sliding in the dirt on his hands and knees. In the instant he looked forward, The Vampire King had closed the distance between them, his sword raised overhead to strike him down where he laid. Beelzebub rolled to his right, narrowly avoiding the downward strike as he rose back to his feet. Beelzebub charged forward again, striking only to be parried by Nosferatu. The King went to attack while his guard was lowered, but Beelzebub recovered quickly and countered the King's blow with his own.

The two, equalling each other, exchanged blow after blow. Steel clashes against steel, blade against shaft. Sparks flicker into the air around them and fade away a moment later. The soldiers on both sides cease combat as they watch, from a safe distance, the battle between these two titans. Nosferatu swings his blade upward and Beelzebub defends with his spear shaft, locking their weapons together. “Hahaha…! I see old age hasn't hindered you yet, O powerful King-!”, teased Beelzebub, who smirked as he pushed Nosferatu away and stabbed his spear blade forward to pierce Nosferatu. The King smirked as he regained his footing and swung his raised sword arm down to knock the blade into the dirt. The King then threw his shoulder into Beelzebub, causing him to lose his grip of the spear and stumble back.

As Gungnir fell to the ground, Nosferatu took another step forward and slashed upward once again, this time cutting into Beelzebub’s chest, carving a diagonal slice into the Demon.

“A-Augh-!” Beelzebub groaned in pain as he fell backwards onto the ground and went silent, blood slowly pooling around him from his wound. A bit out of breath, Nosferatu silently recollected his breath as he stepped closer to the downed demon. The King stared down at his opponent, who laid motionless in the dirt, and stabbed the crimson blade of Firebrand into the dirt beside them. He lightly kicked Beelzebub’s foot, who groaned quietly as he said, “You can get up now, Surely you're not weak enough to die from that, are you?” Beelzebub’s eyes opened suddenly, revealing their sinister golden color as he said with a smile, “No, but you did just lower your guard~”

Nosferatu’s eyes widened with shock as he grabbed the handle of his blade, but was too slow. The moment his hand even grazed the handle of Firebrand, Gungnir had pierced him from behind, sticking out of his stomach. The golden spear was drenched with the crimson blood of the Vampire, who stumbled back at the sudden wound. He lost his footing and dropped onto one knee while Beelzebub weakly rose to his feet. “Y’know… I have to say, you're the first person in a very long time to get a good strike in on me like that. I genuinely thought I'd die there, had you followed up with a finishing blow. It looks like old age has slowed you down, now look at you-”Beelzebub interrupted himself as he called his spear back to him, forcing it from Nosferatu’s back as he released a loud groan of pain. The King fell onto his hands and knees completely from the dislodged spear as Beelzebub continued”-kneeling to an enemy, of all things. So much for the righteous ‘King of Vampires’, am I right?” Nosferatu growled in anger as he looked up at Beelzebub, who had begun using a healing spell to close up his wound. He felt an odd coldness spreading through his abdomen, and looked down to see what was causing the feeling.

Rapid decay of flesh turning black.A cold and numb feeling spreading through the area, his veins. The Spear, Gungnir, had cast frostbite on him…? Though he was weak from the attack, the Vampire slowly donned a smile on his face as he looked up at the smug demon and said, “That's a new one, this curse-” As he said this, he paused as he painfully rose to his feet, much to the demon’s shock. “-I can see how you took care of Oberon so quickly now. But it's like I said before…”, Once the King stood completely on his feet, Beelzebub’s eyes widened in surprise as he saw the curse… begin to recede. Nosferatu grinned as he rose his left hand and removed the gauntlet to reveal his bare hand, which wore two rings. On his ring finger was a golden ring, worn and scratched by the passage of time and silver ring with a green gemstone, one that was glowing dimly. “I’m sure you're aware of the Adornments of the Ruler, right? Seven Magical Arms granted to the First Demigod, King Gilgamesh. This is the Third, the Ring of Absolute Restoration.”

Beelzebub scowled and glared as he stepped back a couple steps, “...What of them?” Nosferatu kept his smile on his face as he too backed up and said, “With this, your Spear’s effect is nothing. Whatever damage you hope to inflict, is nothing. Though, I must admit-”, He said as he too took a few steps back, pulling Firebrand from the ground before sheathing it at his back. As he did this, he pulled the golden-colored blade from its place to the left of the Crimson one. “-I did underestimate your combat prowess a bit. Though slightly underhanded, I can see why you strike fear into people at the mere mention of your name.”

“But,” Nosferatu said, replacing the smile on his face with a serious glare, “I still have to show you that the people of Bloodfall won't be an easy target for your invasion.” After he said this he pulled a light-blue sword from behind him, to the right of Firebrand.

“Now, let us continue-!” With that last remark, he charged forward after Beelzebub, who met his charge.
