What is it, what did you do?

I am hypnotized by you.

What’s your secret; tell me now,

I can’t forget you, don’t know how.

My heart aches beyond repair,

I am agonizing in despair.

I thought I had it; that I was strong,

But I’ve uncovered that I was wrong.

I was doing well; I was okay,

And then you said: “I love you, Jay”.

Why’d you say it? (Don’t love me, please!)

And perhaps, I can forget with ease.

Why’d you come back?

Why did you write?

And now I lack the strength to fight.

You have me here, so weak inside,

(Jay, don’t give in to this same ride)

But I just can’t let you go,

I love you more than I’ve come to know.
