Chapter 1

“ALICIA, NO TALKING!” Mr. Wimplemen shouted. “If it happens again, you’ll be in big trouble and believe me you don’t want to see me when someone's in trouble! Understood!?”

“Well trust me Mr. Wimplemen I’ve seen you when someone’s in trouble many, many, many times before.” I said  sounding snooty in my head. I’m kind of what some people call a “ Bad Kid”, which they're probably not wrong about that. Incase you're wondering, I’ve been suspended 5 times for a week and expelled once. I don’t like getting in trouble, but I try not to get in even more trouble by acting like it’s funny.

“Understood.” I said back with my head down.

For the rest of the day I tried my best to stay in a well behaved mood.

“RING RING!!!” The bell rang.

Everyday after school the halls are always crowded and trying to fight your way through the crowd was like fighting my brother’s cancer, It’s not impossible but it’s pretty dang hard! As I got on the bus I heard girly-girl goody-goody laughs from behind me. I slowly turned around to see that my nemesis, Katelynn Abernathy was whispering her usual “I’m talking as quiet as a mouse” whisper even though basically the whole bus could hear her whispering to Gretchen Archer and Navia Annesley. They have a group called the KGNA-girls, I know right, dumbest name ever! But every girl in 5th grade wants to be a part of it but they have told many girls more than once that they can’t be in it because KGNA stands for Katelynn, Gretchen, Navia, and the A stands for their last names. Get it? Their last names all start with an A? Anyways they were starting to get on my last nerve! I rolled my eyes at them and turned around super fast hoping they wouldn’t notice. “Excuse me,” Katelynn said, “Isn’t your name Alicia Verbeck?”

Dang It she caught me! “Yes.”

“Oh, pretty name. Like your eye color.” Katelynn said sounding sassy and dramatic.

“Thanks.”

“Yeah well you're ugly little fat eyes  could go to better use by not rolling them at innocent 5th grade girls such as Gretchen, Navia, and I. Understood?”

“Understood.” I knew for a fact that they were totally not innocent girls but I decided to stop poking the bear.
