Getting married was the best part of my life because I got to love and know someone better than anyone else could. We loved each other and nothing could ever separate us, but it was always like that. Before we even got married or even before we dated she never knew who I was. That all changed one day when I got the confidence to go tell her that I liked her, and I am going to tell you all about our relationship and how it all started.

I was in the 10th grade and I had algebra one for my first period class since I never finished it last year. The class was liberal arts and it was meant for slower people who didn’t understand math that much but for me I could understand it. A few seats away from me sat my future love but I did not know that. The first few months of the class went by like it were nothing, then it came, the day that I would finally have a crush on her. Of course I was like any other boy at that age which was looking at girls and seeing how pretty they were but she was different. Her name was Destiny and she seemed like a nice person and she was. She laughed at jokes and she would always be positive no matter what you said to her, that's what I found the most attractive about her. To most of the other boys they thought of her just some pretty girl but I thought of her as someone who would care.

The next day came it was just like any other day, I would get all my work done quickly and accurately, and then I would daydream about different things including Destiny. Many days were like that until one day. That day first period was extended due to some sort of event that was happening with the upperclassmen. I finished my work and went on as usual, when I heard someone say my name. I looked around to see who it was and I saw that Destiny was talking to me. I asked her in a calm voice “What can I help you with?” She told me that she wanted to know if I could help her with her work, and sure enough I said yes. I told her to sit in the spot next to me and I would walk her through it. About 20 minutes passed and she was finally done with her work. Once she turned it in she came back over to me and asked me if maybe I would like to become her tutor for this class since I was so good at it. I told her that I would because it would be my pleasure to help anyone that needs help. I asked her what days I should come over and she told me every other day. For the rest of that day I was happy beyond belief that the girl of my dreams was talking to me.

Later that day I drove home and went to go tell my parents the good news about I was tutoring the girl of my dreams, but they were nowhere to be seen. I went all around the house calling for them but I had no reply. When I opened the door to their bedroom I saw what had happened. They were both there lying in a pool of blood and from the looks of it they were murdered. I grabbed the nearest phone and dialed 911 to call for an ambulance. After the paramedics took my dead parents away a social services worker came up to me and asked me if I was okay and I told them that I was in shock from what happened since today went from being a really good day to a tragic day in moments. The kind lady asked me if I had any aunts or uncles that could take me in, and I told her that both of my parents were only children. She looked at me very confused and asked me if there was anyone that I knew of that could take me in, and I told her that there might be one person. She asked me who it was and I told her that it was one of my teachers, because he always seemed to think of me as his son. She said that she would give him a call and see. About a half hour later she came back and told me the great news and I was so ecstatic.

A few years passed and Destiny and I were boyfriend and girlfriend. It was our senior year of high school and we were loving everything. Everyday after school we hung out, and yes I would still tutor her in math since I was the good one at it. Everything was going good until the final week of the school year, when I told destiny that we would have to break up since we are both going to different colleges in different states. I told her that as soon as I graduate we could get married, but that isn’t how it went. I forgot to maintain contact with her throughout college, so I thought that she moved on, but I was wrong. It wasn’t for a decade after college that we got back together.

I never knew that she became a nurse until one day she got the job as being one of my nurses in the ER. We didn’t talk much because we didn’t know that we were working with each other at that point in time. One day I was walking by a bay when I hear my name being said. I waited a moment to see why it was being said. I hear Destiny saying that you will know the one when you meet them. She said that she meet the one in the 10th grade. She continued on and then I slowly walked through the curtains. I told Destiny at that time that I also meet the one in the 10th grade but we split up due to college. At the moment when she heard me say that her eye became so wide. She said that she couldn’t believe it was me, because I looked so different then, than I do now. I asked her one thing and it was if she wanted to still be together. She came up to me and said yes.

One year later we were back together and happy. We both went to work that day as usual but something was different. When we got their Destiny said that something wasn’t right. I told her to find out what wasn’t right, and when she turned around I got down on one knee and pulled out the most beautiful diamond ring ever. When she turned back around I said these words, “Destiny will you marry me.” She began to cry tears of joy and said yes. She was so happy and excited for us to finally be together forever, and that is how it would remain.

We went on to have two children a boy and a girl who grew up to have their own children. One day I looked over at her and told her that there is no one I would rather spend the rest of my life with than her. She began to cry and I held her hand. To this day we are still together and happier than ever.

The End
