I’ve been on my own for so long
Keeping my faith strong, fighting the same thorn
As hard as it gets, the more I’d sworn
And you ask me, hell, why I’m so prone?
It’s not the hate but reality instead
It always comes and will always bend
Towards your face to make you weep
And you ask me why I’m in this place?
They begin to question how I perceive
The things around me, oh how I believe
Will disappear apparently, gone with the wind
And you ask me why I doubt when you speak?
Picking up the broken pieces and fragments of time
Ashes to ashes, peace is what I desire
Can honesty and fallacy be together in line?
If you ask me, here’s the mirror and I’ll let you decide.
