"I realized I had been gripping the steering wheel so tight that it was actually hurting my hands; which was saying something considering. The extreme anger seemed to pass, but that was only
replaced by a complete emotional breakdown. I started sobbing against my steering wheel from the weight of what was happening. The thought of never seeing my cousin again tore me up inside, almost
to the point of being physically sick. We were going to find him. We had to find him. Even if I had to do it myself."

Julianna Mercado had no idea of the supernatural world around her. She believed, like everyone else, that Vampires don't exist. But, when this 18 year old is reborn as an Immortal, she finds out
her entire life as she knew it was a complete lie. She finds out that her family has kept a secret from her for her entire life. Now, she has to adapt to her new life as a Vampire, while living
with a family she feels she doesn't know anymore. And not only that, but she has to hide her secret from her friends, along with the seemingly perfect guy she meets.
