This is not aimed at an particular world leader. Everywhere now seems to be going the same way.

Divided We Fall

Another major fissure,

another deepened crack,

from the politics of playground

we are all under attack.

The world’s being run by children

with not a clue of tact;

the insults that they hurl around

they never will retract.

It’s not a state of a few countries

but a global situation;

we’re all victims now around the world

of an infantile infestation.

Religion against religion,

race pitted against race,

the cohesive disintegration

is really a disgrace.

The rich are looking down on us,

as the poor, they target poor;

the idea of stability

has long run out that door.

We are governed now by tantrums,

by squabbles and by fights;

a world of no compassion

and of diplomatic slights.

I’m fearing for the people,

the ones that are like us,

we’ll be forgotten and neglected

by this competitive fuss.

Give a child a button,

say, ‘This, don’t ever touch.’

The temptation is just so increased,

no caution there, as such.

The world is disunited

to such a wide extent,

the fall, it is there waiting

with it’s radical descent.

Apocalypse is beckoning

if communication does not mend,

a world that is just blown apart,

there is just no way to defend.
