Review on Reality TV Shows:

This is my review on reality TV shows. Every year we’re glued to our television sets watching reality TV shows. There are many different types of reality TV shows such as The Apprentice, Britain’s Got Talent, Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother, The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, The Voice UK, and The Voice Kids.
In my opinion I have watched almost all of these shows from when they were first broadcasted on TV. Unfortunately for me I feel that the format of all of these shows is losing their viewing rate by how the way they’re run. Also many of these reality TV shows have had to change the show’s format to be able to complete with the other rival reality TV shows. I have come up with some suggestion to increase TV viewing ratings for The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice UK, and The Voice Kids.
For example, The X Factor could have the public to vote for the judging panel for each series with a selection of judges to choose from. Then the four judges with the most votes will become part of the judging panel. As well as voting for which judge mentors the four categories boys 16-24, girls 16-24, the over 25’s, and the groups, and also the winner.
In Strictly Come Dancing to make the competition fair to have the contestant  with the lowest judges’ score and the contestant with the lowest public vote to compete against each other in the dance off to decide who stays in the competition.
Britain’s Got Talent is another fantastic show where people from all walks of life from young children to elderly people and not forgetting their pets of course show off their talent to a panel of judges and a packed audience as well as the viewing public. The public could vote for a panel of judges out of a variety selection. Then the four judges with the highest vote will be the judging panel for the series. It is a very special show as the winner gets a place on the Royal Variety Show and gets the chance to perform in front of the royal family.
The Voice UK and The Voice Kids should be axed as it is a pretty similar show to The X Factor. Also I remember reading an interview with Will.i.am one of the Voice UK and The Voice Kids coaches in The Buzz TV magazine that comes free with The Sun newspaper. He’d said that there’s no point in winning the show as the winners never go onto be successful.
I have also enjoyed watching Big Brother, and Celebrity Big Brother, as it is just interesting in seeing how a group of strangers/celebrities cope to live with each other for a period of time.
Plus I also enjoy the Apprentice as Lord Alan Sugar sends the candidates on a rollercoaster ride of a journey to find his apprentice, but he has now changed his mind and instead of an apprentice he’s looking for a business partner to invest a quarter of a million pounds into that person’s business. It is so fascinating to see how they live together in the house that Lord Sugar provides for them over 12 weeks, as well as working in a team to win the task successfully. My favourite part is the interview week where some of Lord Sugar’s aiders grill the final five candidates regarding their business plan and then report back to Lord Sugar on who they think that he should or should not invest his money in to the candidates’ business and why!
