To some

reality is binding

sailors’ knots tightly

secured, and rightly

so.

To some

love is dividing,

light is blinding,

hope is denying

truth.

To some

life is defying

subtly prying

chaos from silent

fate.

To some

trust is relying

on forces for guiding

wanderers to rightful

homes.

To some

home is a quiet

refuge from violence

contrast to fiery

end.

To me

words are lying

snakes, while biting

tongues are mine to

keep.
