“There isn’t much time.”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean there isn’t much time.”

“Much time for what?”

“For time. In general.”

“I’m confused, what’s going on?

“Just leave. There isn’t much time.”

“Leave where?”

“The house.”

“Why?”

“Someone’s coming.”

“Well, I made plans for Katie to come over, so that’s not a suprise.”

“It’s not her.”

“Who is it?”

“Dad?”

“Well…”

“Well what?”

“Is it him or not?”

“It… it used to be him…”

“What do you mean? And why are you saying ‘it’?”

“It’s not him anymore.”

“Now leave. Before…”

“Before what?”

“Before he gets you, too…”

“...”

“Oh no. I’m sorry. You’re too late.”

“Too late for what?”

“It’s in the house…”

“Wait, WHAT?”

“WHO IS? TELL ME ALREADY!!!”

“The headless man…”

“...”

“I don’t see anyo-”

“O_o”

“HE’S THERE!! WHAT DO I DO?!?”

“There is nothing to be done…”

“His power is above all others…”

“You sound like you know about this!”

“I do…”

“It has killed me, too…”

“You are the next on his list.”

“Mom? What?”

“I love you too, honey.”

“See you in a new world.”

-this is now the first person perspective-

“Oh, ****, what do I do?” I thought. At that time, I didn’t know that it was still watching me. “Uhh…” I said out loud. That was the biggest mistake of my life. The headless man shrieked and towered over me, knife in hand. My neck was slit in a second. The last thing I remember was searing pain, and the headless man just stabbed me over and over again. Then blackness. I was dead. No, I am not alive again; I am a ghost. And watch out. The headless man is coming for you.

And you’re next.
