She opened a finger like the crack of a door

Allotted his presence a tad bit more

Like charcoal stains the oiled palms

She caught her breath before that fall

Which he insisted he would hold

Onto her heart for which he pulled

Their hands trace back in eternal time

A pierced-veiled love that never dies

Felt the wind which numbs the rose

This love afire was never froze

Although petals fade distantly

Their perfume lasts in memories

For all this love entangled moons

Burns brighter than sun's afternoons

Wonderfully written and invokes many mental images. I like this. In fact I hit the like button. Well done.
