Short Story by: Savajust
I was making a payment towards my credit card bill through the automated billing service. It asked me if I wanted to pay through Debit or Credit on my bank card. I pressed a button on my phone and it said I paid twice and so I didn't want to do that so I asked the automated system to speak to somebody. I had to wait a couple of minutes and some lady came on the phone and said her name was Mary Black. I had told Mary Black that I paid twice with my credit card by mistake and that I would like to only pay once and have the other fee taken off. Mary Black said she would take care of it and it would only take a day or two for it to come off. Well about two days went by and the statemnt on my phone said that the double charge was still there, so I called the credit card company up and asked them to speak to Mary Black; however, the person who answered the phone said Mary Black is no longer at this location, but we have a Mary Brown with us, would you like to speak to her or would you mind if I take care of you instead? Then I said to myself, how many different colored Marys are working for this company?
The End.
