In a deep sleep...

In a deep slumber I wish to be,

With a set of mind so differently.

And at last, perhaps forget,

What hasn’t killed me as of yet.

So tired and frustrated,

With the stress that I’ve created.

To flee from the voices in my head,

And from all the tears that I have shed.

In secrecy and alone,

I wipe the weakness I have shown.

Only asleep I am at peace,

This pain I feel just doesn’t cease.

It’s relentless and obscure,

To overcome it; I’m unsure.

What can I do? I just don’t know,

I never learned to let you go.
