This is a poem about a very special memory with my sister and my best friend. hope you guys like it <3 don't forget to tell me your opinions

Surreal Luster

We had but three hearts

Filled with youth

No one could split us apart

We made the moment pound with truth

With yearning glee

So we brought our plastic chairs

Brightly white

The whirls of thought were set free

It seemed so right

With one daring look

I sat and looked down

With a sea of excitement but with waves of fright

At the stairs that gracefully descended

And dreams beneath me shook

Mind and Heart together ascended

With a pounding heart

I slid down

The world shook around me

Its lines and curves blurred

And its vibrant hues entwined

As if laughing with us

If my world was a rose

It bloomed in that moment

Then she slid

She was my best friend

Though her fire she hid

She put that to an end

The three of us

Were like three testers

We tested life

How far can it bloom?

How big can it grow?

Can the still air move free for once?

Will the birds sing with us?

We shot for the twinkle of surreal luster

And there we did muster
