The Unlucky One

I was once got curious

I never thought it can get this serious.

I had my share of first crush

Well it was a bit of a sugar rush.

Then I saw him, so irresistible

it hurt to know that he has someone else.

I glimpsed of that smile one day

I glanced over and stared for a while,

so I could see, yet he vanished in a mile.

As time went by, I had to turn back

to see a man that I already knew from way back.

Here comes you; I had conversations with my heart.

I don't know if I am really falling for you or you just hit me with a mini dart.

Five years had gone, I have been so numb

until I saw him, I was invited by his charm.

A friend came along unexpectedly

Fate gave me that hope, but then it got cut short.

Fate dropped me from the sky all the way to the floor.

I stop hoping and waiting and made a decison to get away,

from the winter cold.

In this place full of people

I glance over in unsuspecting crowd

and it happened again, I was pulled by his charm

and that contagious smile.

But yet, I have to stop what I am feeling because

he is a million miles away from me.

So I will just sit and wait till then

until fate decides to knock on my door again.
