How far we've fallen

Another sad fact jumped out at me from reading "Jack Kennedy' by Chris Matthews--our political discourse--to those of you who think Trump's no different, I would remind you, before, politicians debated the size of our commitment to global affairs, now we're arguing whether Trump's wanger is bigly enough. Think about that for a second, that's how far we've fallen, from serious, high-level arguments about global politics, to to junior-high school-level arguments about what a man he is, and how much he's accomplished, when the numbers don't lie, he's gotten almost nothing done, and the solitary meaningful legislation he has managed to jam through Congress is supported by a whopping 24 % of Americans, or somewhere around that number. So, now he's attacking one of the pillars that holds up our Democracy, a free press. Because he knows that he can't defend the numbers, he's questioning the numbers themselves. By supporting this man, you're saying what he's doing is normal, and okay, when it's neither.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he charged with doing what's best for ALL of us, or at least the majority? This dangerous man represents the greatest threat to our system of government. Not Russia, Not Iran, not North Korea, him, an ex-reality show host, real estate tycoon, a complete fraud we call President Trump. Is this really the image of America we want the world to see? I guess anymore it is.
