It’s My Party

Nobody knows the time that it starts,

nobody’s knocking my door.

Nobody’s dancing with me,

on my carpeted floor.

It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to,

cry if I want to,

sigh if I want to.

You would cry too if it happened to you.

Play all the music I’ve sorted out,

at least there is just me to choose;

the song will always be one that I like,

there is no way I can lose.

It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to,

cry if I want to,

die if I want to.

You would cry to if it happened to you.

Then they appear through the very walls,

all the ghosts from my past;

they will keep dancing with me

so long as the madness will last.

It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to,

fly if I want to,

die if I want to.

You would cry to if it happened to you.

Repeat last chorus.

End.
