Reaching in and grasping hold, a dragon’s claw born of death.

The iron couldn’t break it and steel was lain to rest.

In the shadows of the deep, I’ve felt the crimson flow

Sorrow has finally left me, I sink into the fold.

Yonder, I look upon a dream so grand

Golden talons stab the heart, piercing ever so

Disdain leaves me heartless

Out here in the cold

I’ve looked upon a promise, years into the Age

Dragons burn with fire, singing all their praises

Sleigh Beggies run from the ash, yet frolic in the snow.

I’ve seen a thousand drops falling in the rain

Slipped between their spaces to feel the heat disperse

A dragon’s claw reaches through

The silence becomes absurd.
