Rev. Jacques Hamel

Birth: Nov. 30, 1930 Darnetal, Departement de la Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie, France

Death: Jul. 26, 2016 Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, Departement de la Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie, France

Martyr for the Faith

The 236th victim of jihadists in France since 2015

Le Père Jacques Hamel, born 1930, ordained 30 June 1958, retired in 2005 with more than 30 years ministering at St Étienne-du-Rouvray 49°22?43?N 1°06?18?E, where he was an auxiliary priest/prêtre auxiliaire. Hamel filled in occasionally at neighbouring Elbeuf 49°17?N 1°01?E, stepping in when the parish’s regular priest, Father Auguste Moanda-Phuati, was busy.

His first post was as a vicar at the Paroisse Saint Antoine, 125 Rue Jacquard, 76140 Le Petit-Quevilly, France in 1958, then a vicar at the Église Notre-Dame de Lourdes, 76300 Sotteville-lès-Rouen, France in 1967, a parish priest at Saint-Pierre-lès-Elbeuf in 1975 and a parish priest in Cléon in 1988. He joined the church as a 'curé in solidum' at Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray in 2000 and assumed his role as the parish’s auxiliary priest in 2005.

On 26 July 2016 two savage Muslim "knifemen" (sic), Abdel Malik Petitjean (16 November 1996-2016) stormed into l'église de Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray during Mass and, after forcing Father Hamel to kneel, Adel Kermiche ???? ?????

(1997-2016) slit his throat. Witnesses, including three nuns (Sœur Hélène Decaux (1933-), Sœur Danielle Delafosse aka Danièle Delafosse, (1944-), and Sœur Huguette Péron, all three Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul) said the barbarians recited a sort of "sermon" before the murder. Hamel had been filling in for the regular parish priest who was on vacation.

Father Hamels's last words to the soulless killers were, "Va-t-en, Satan!" or "Éloigne-toi, Satan!" = "Begone Satan!" echoing the words of Jesus in Matthew 4:10, "Begone, Satan: for it is written, The Lord thy God shalt thou adore, and him only shalt thou serve." (Bishop Richard Challoner's (1691-1781) revision of the Douay-Rheims Bible)

The attack left one nun critically injured and both jihadis dead.

The two killers, carrying toy guns and fake explosives in order to guarantee they be shot by Police and who shouted 'Allahu Akbar', were shot dead by police marksmen as they emerged from the building, which was later searched for bombs.

A third Muslim animal, a Syrian, was arrested in Allier, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, by the Police Judiciaire. Two others were interrogated but not arrested.

A cousin of Petitjean named as Farid K. (1986 or 1995-), Toulouse, Haute-Garonne was remanded in custody 31 July 2016 on charges of “criminal association in connection with terrorism”. The public prosecutor said K. “was fully aware of his cousin’s imminent violent action, even if he did not know the precise place or day.”

Both attackers had recently sworn the bay'ah

in general and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (1971-)

in particular.

The ISIS-front 'Amaq ???? News Agency of the Islamic State said the perpetrators were “soldiers of the Islamic State who carried out the attack in response to calls to target countries of the Crusader coalition”.

French president François Gérard Georges Nicolas Hollande (1954-), who visited the scene, said the country is 'at war' with ISIS after the terror group claimed responsibility for the brutal attack.

Kermiche was being monitored by electronic tag after twice attempting to join fanatics in Syria. Unbelievably, his bail terms allowed him to be unsupervised between 8.30am and 12.30pm - the attack happened between 9am and 11am.

In April 2015 a seized ISIS document showed that the church was on the jihadis' hit list. Infamous terrorist Sid Ahmed Ghlam

??? ???? ????

(1992-) had specifically targeted the church. When the ISIS plant was arrested, an arsenal of weapons was discovered in Ghlam’s car as well as at his student residence, which included Kalashnikov rifles, a police-issue pistol, and a number of bullet-proof vests. Ghlam is currently in a high-security prison awaiting trial for numerous crimes including murder, attempted murder, association with criminals with a view to commit crimes and other infractions connected to a terrorist organization.

After the arrest, police discovered a list of Catholic sites to be targeted by Islamic State terrorists, which included the location of Tuesday’s attack.

The beautiful XVI Cent. church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray is a French heritage monument, to which a tower was added in the XVII Cent.

More importantly, the church also “happened” to be right next door to the Yahiya* mosque of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, whose best-known worshiper was the notorious French jihadist executioner Maxime Hauchard (born 1992 in Le Bosc-Roger-en-Roumois, Eure department, Haute-Normandie).

*( ??????, Ya?y? or Yahia or Yahiya, is an Arabic male given name. Yahya (John the Baptist) having been a prophet of Islam, Yahya is a very common name in the Muslim world. In Persian, Yahya is a title of address for a senior village or community elder; it is also a common nickname for the 12th Imam)

Hauchard appeared in a video of the beheading of American aid worker Peter Edward Kassig aka Abdul-Rahman Kassig (1988-2014), who founded Special Emergency Response and Assistance (SERA) in 2012. Hauchard has murdered dozens. He converted to Islam at the age of 17 and frequented the mosque of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray.

Several years ago, Islamic State recruiters contacted and enlisted Hauchard, who became involved in the 2014 takeover of Mosul. “My personal goal is martyrdom, obviously,” Hauchard said in a television interview.

Once in Syria, Hauchard changed his name to Abu Abdallah al-Faransi

?? ????? ????????

and announced that he wanted to help militants found an Islamic caliphate.

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy called for a 'merciless' response to the killing while 'horrified' ex-Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin said he feared 'everything is being done to trigger a war of religions'.

A Requiem Mass was celebrated 2 August 2016 2pm WETZ at the Cathedrale de Rouen, Place de la Cathédrale, 76000 Rouen, France. Archbishop of Rouen Msgr Dominique Julien Claude Marie Lebrun (1957-) presided, assisted by Msgr Georges Pontier (1943-), President of the French Bishops' Conference. Father Hamel's sister Rosalie Hamel attended.

QUOTE BY FATHER HAMEL:
