I walk the lonely lane and know, no name, The darkness pulled me closer in its hold, Instead of staying late I felt the shame, And questioned self before the sight of gold. The man who gave a damn
was trying hard, If looking bad was hurt, I need a break, What pain has done I suffered playing card - These tears are real and life without is fake. So going south to find my meal is wrong, And
love in life I need like seeing friend - The music plays but I don't know their song, With better sense around all pain has end. I've found the way and life has shown me care, To wait on love and
eye the prize that's near.
