Genoveva Forest Tarrat aka Genoveva Forest aka Eva Forest (1928-2007). Communist, anarchist, America-hater. One of the most infamous accomplices to assassination in post-war European history, though never convicted of any serious crimes herself.

She had numerous ETA (Euskadi Ta Askatasuna) aliases, among them "La Rubia", "Tupamara" and “Vitia” and was connected with various murderous leftist movements on three continents.

Due to the Amnesty Decree of 1977, she walked laughing and smirky out of the Yeserías prison, renamed the Centro de Insercion Social Victoria Kent, Calle de Juan de Vera, 10, 28045 Madrid, Spain.

Forest was married 1955-2007 to the Communist writer Alfonso Sastre Salvado (1926-), a geeky, bibulous, cowardly slug known for one or two short works (e.g., 'La escuadra hacia la muerte' 1953 the plot stolen from multiple 1950s apocalyppse movies) which used to be common fodder for undergrad Spanish Lit classes.

Joined the Partido Comunista de España (PCE) in 1962, Senator en the Cortes Generales Legislature 4 representing Guipúzcoa (1992-1993)
