Nothing left to say .

All you've left to do

is run away

from me.

There's something

that keeps me standing still .

As another piece of my life is killed.

Before I could unfreeze the fear

with the sky's cruel torch ..

I felt the stubbornness

begin to scorch .

Put my heart in a sack

and take it with you

where you go.

If you get lost

where you roam .

Just follow the sound of the beat

and it will bring you home .

One foot inside .

one foot out the door

And I wonder why

we live in this messed up world .

These tears in my eyes

mean I want you to stay

can't you see your everything and

the reason I wake each day ?

I never want to be apart .

Through the window blinds

I watch your car

disappear down the drive.

If you must go ..

Put my heart in a sack

and take it with you

where you go.

If you get lost

where you roam .

Just follow the sound of the beat

and it will bring you home.

Tonight I watched a shooting star

and it reminded me of you.

On the night that you

stole my heart

I wonder if you saw it too.

By now

your as far as

the end of the galaxy .

And my last request

before I take this leave ..

Take my heart from the sack

dream of the times

you shared with me.

I'm hoping that it will be

the spark of your memory .

Take my heart from the sack

never give it back .

Never let it bleed .

Never let it weep.

Hold it in your arms

as you drift off to sleep.

I hope you come home...
