If you ask if she's okay

and she replies with "I'm fine"

 please don't stop there

or else you are obviously blind.

 Look into her eyes

 and read her story

 and find out the reason

behind her misery.

There's more to her than a kind soul,

she's been where everyone treated her like coal.

She's defeated her greatest fears

and cried even more tears

and she's built up this great wall

that she is certain won't make her fall,

once again

Through thick and thin,

she lost her kin,

but she always reminded herself

to not give in

because even now

and in her darkest hours

she always had herself

to give her flowers

No matter what anyone says

No matter how nice people seem to be

there's always going to be somebody

who turns away and abuses her trust

it could be family or friends

but the abandonment never ends

She's trusted so many people

who turned out to be somebody that

she promised herself to not to accompany

So many people hurt her

and turned away from her when she needed them most

so now she doesn't know who's real or a ghost

She holds on to her memories

that used to be her harmony

hoping that one day could be her reality,

once again

So next time when you ask her if she's okay

and she replies with "I'm fine"

please don't stop there

or else you are obviously blind

It's easier for people to look no deeper than the surface mask. A deep and well-thought-out write.
