Have you ever had the eerie feeling you are being watched?

First, a disclaimer: I do NOT attest to the spiritual safety of the following, as doing so may place ones soul in jeopardy. To make your idea for a horror movie work, you could worship the Devil. The Great Red Horned One, Father Satan, has a legendary reputation for granting success, wealth, and power, especially in the entertainment or film industry.

Have a look at Church of Satan founder Anton Szandor LaVey. Notice how he has the fashionable appearance of Ming the Merciless or, I dare say, a carnival magician. His surname, LaVey is subliminally suggestive of Las Vegas. “Anton” is almost a homonym of “Satan”.

The movie doesn’t have to be about Lucifer to be successful, simply co-opt the witchcraft of Beelzebub, a/k/a Abaddon Apollyon toward your cinematic aim.

Look what applying the sorcery of Satan did for the success of the psychedelic rock band Coven.

To make your idea for a horror movie work, align the characters and plot with the audience’s beliefs, biases, and instincts. For example, people believe in conspiracy theories because they have suspicious minds. People have suspicious minds because deceitful cunning is often used to launch malicious attacks aimed at exploiting them. This can easily be seen in the corporate bosses manufacturing booze and automobiles then distributing both to the general public. I’m sure you know what happens when booze and automobiles are blended.

One horrific result of the inadvisable combination is MADD. Why are the mothers against drunk driving? Why aren’t they against the global companies that mass produce automobiles and booze? Why aren’t they against governments that don’t outlaw the sale of mind-altering, judgement-impairing substances? Because they’re all in league with the Master of Shadows.

Therefore, exploit the fears, prejudices, and suspicions of the viewing public and you will succeed with blockbuster triumph at making your idea for a horror movie work.

Psychoanalyze the following italicized passage. When you have determined the underlying cognitive structural framework which makes this riddle so fascinatingly intriguing, you will have discovered the key concept for how to make your idea for a horror movie work.

{It’s my sweet, sweet Satan, the one whose little path made me sad, the one whose power is Satan. There was a little tool shed where he made us suffer, sad Satan}

A pact with the Devil is sure to generate lucrative results by infusing your idea for a horror film with influential demonic muscle. Have yourself a little chat with Satan, because, after all, if the Prince of Darkness doesn’t know how to make an idea for a horror movie work, who does?
