First, I have to say, fantastic dialogue. And the fighting is so well described, in all of it's brutality. Looking forward to seeing where you take this, M. A.
Thu, June 14th, 2018 8:32pmI don't quite understand the revelation to the priest and also why didn't the knight defend himself when his eyes were getting blinded?
Otherwise I loved the descriptions and dialouge here! :)

Glad you enjoyed it!
As for the priest, I'm not sure who you mean. If by that you mean the swordsman in black armor, he revealed to the knight (his brother) why he did what he did to get exiled which turned out to be influenced by the knight.
The knight did not defend himself because of the trauma of barely surviving an explosion that destroyed the castle and killed the king who was inside it and the shock from his brother's revelation.
If I didn't make those parts clear, I'll be sure to look back and rewrite it as best I can. Regardless, thank you for your feedback!

Beautifully written. Very interesting as well. I'll admit, I had my reservations, as I wasn't quite in the mood for a longer story. I'm glad I decided to read though. Very intriguing and right up my alley. Expect me to keep my eyes peeled on the accuracy of your bladed combat scenes! :)
