A soul that’s mourning; a heart in pain,

A mind that’s desperately going insane.

So hopeless I seem to feel,

Where is the cure to help me heal?

What is happening to me?

I am so empty; it’s not a mystery.

Everyone knows something is wrong,

And I pretend to just be strong.

I’m just so angry and annoyed,

This moribund soul is vast and void.

This depression is just persistent,

I have become detached and distant.

Relegated from everyone,

To keep on trying; I’m simply done.
