And in that long and agrestic walk,
Did we find the crimson sky,
That fell upon the lake we call Cameron,
And the loon did cry.

Through the rapture of eve,
Did God send his blessings,
Accepting our offering,
As payment due.

Nothing goes unnoticed,
And nothing goes un-rewarded,
To the eternal vigilance,
Of the one we call God,
Who’s heart was broken,
Who’s heart was mended,
By just two of his children,
Whom He has loved for so long.

We fell silent.

Solace formed around and inside us,
As we watched the rapture of eve bleed into Cameron,
And in that moment we were home.
