Coming from Lexington MA, many people are already active in poliics as well as majoring in govt, political science, or history. Choosing form my wide array of peers as to who will serve this country best, I would have to support Matilda Ettlinger. Avid in politics throughout high school and now majoring in political science and education at University of Vermont, she is a wonderful candidate. Smart, wellspoken, and an advocat for those who havw less of a ice than she does, she is the perfect example of what our country needs - a smart woman who knows the ins and outs of government, who is truly defending the rights of all the people.

Already 18, the fate of America is already in the hands of my peers and I. Many were able to vote in the Presidential Election of 2016, and are getting ready for the midterm elections in 2018. My biggest fear is actually with the generation a few above, those who seem to have lost touch in the direction that our country should truly be going in and are ignoring the effects of Climate Change. I wold argue that Climate cHANGE IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS CURRENTLY HAPPENING, THT IS BEING COMPLETELY IGNORED BY UR CURRENT GOVERNMENT. tHE PEOPLE MAKING THE DECISIONS IN CONGRESS CURRENTLY WON’T EVEN BE AROUND TO SEE THE EFFECTS THEY HAVE MADE BY RUNING THE ENVIRONMENT, AND IF THEY TRULY CARED ABOUT THE FUTURE OF our country, and the world, would stop focusing on their own wants for financial success and power, and start focusing on how we can repair the damage we’ve already done.

Shmuel Wyckoff

The only proposed solutions to climate change in the United States would absolutely bankrupt our economy. The fact is that countries like China and India are the main sources of pollution in the world. Also, the evidence for man made climate change is inconclusive at best and a lie at worst.
