I listen to the roads
The streetlights keep their glow
The building lights are off
Rain drizzles so soft
It's beautiful to me
I feel like I can see
A level-headed peace
I love the big cities
The people are on their way
They live life day by day
I wish that I could stay
But my family lives away

I am from a rural
The end of the forest's swirl
In a little house of silence
I guess it keeps out violence
And though I will retreat
Still, I will return
To the amazing city streets
