Inspired by the plans of North Korea to hold a military parade on the Eve of the Winter Olympics.

Red Flag

I’m not about to toe your line, over me you’ve no control,

I’ll prove to you that we are strong, for I am on a roll.

My army will be marching proud, and yes, they’re pretty strong,

you wanted to curtail this but I will show you’re wrong

in thinking that I care of what you have to say;

this here is my country and I’ll run it my own way.

You want to make me cower, you want to make me beg

but none of that will happen for you’ve lit a powder-keg.

Look at me, for I’m not scared, by all your raging threats,

I’m going to go and taunt some more for you’re not fuming yet.

Get rid of me, not a chance, you’ll have to take this country down,

I’ll wave a red flag in your face for you are such a clown.

It's just like he's taunting, Mike. All this behavior is just not how 'world leaders' should be acting. Thanks for reading this, Mike!

I quite like North Korea's style, they seem to work on a war only form of politics but make themselves look like children playing with toy soldiers. I only stopped playing with mine because something bad happened. Anyway, for a taunt to work it needs to be aimed at a trigger happy fool. The president of America isn't that stupid... Oh, right.

Yeah, he does not like to be taunted, does he. Otherwise there might be one gigantic tantrum! Thanks for reading, Lucas.

You've succeeded in crafting a poem that reads like it's written by one of the megalomaniacs. When will the madness end? How much madder will they get? Nicely done, Hully!

I have to say the looming Winter Olympics makes me feel even more nervous. Either of them could go totally off-the-wall crazy, I fear. And thanks, Jeff, I wanted to make it read like it was coming straight from the.....err...not sure what to call him's mouth!
