Her mind is a switchblade,

I dare not to press.

Is it love? Is it lust?

Dressing up to undress.

My mind is a grenade,

I don’t pull the pin.

Is it love? Is it lust?

We just end to begin.

We share violence in kisses,

We share violent delights,

We make noises in silence,

We skip the “Goodnights.”

Our minds are the frontlines,

Geneva war crimes.

Is it love or just lust?

For we’ve killed, and been tried.

Our minds have defected,

Our bodies switched sides.

It’s not love, it’s not lust.

It was once, but it died.
