Thankfully, Toronto Maple Leaf's goalie, Frederik Andersen wasn't seriously injured in Monday night's game against the Anaheim Ducks, however, there's no guarantee he'll be playing tonight against the Nashville Predators.

Andersen left Monday night's game at 6:15 of the second period after Anaheim's Corey Perry accidentally clipped him on his mask with his skate blade.

Andersen ended up with just whiplash symptoms and a sore jaw.  That's all.

Leaf's backup goalie, Curtis McElhiinney replaced Andersen.

As for the Predators, the team isn't going to have Filip Forsberg in their line up tonight.  He's serving a three game suspension for a late hit on New York Ranger's Jimmy Vesey on Saturday night.

The Leafs have sent defenseman, Andreas Borgman back down to the Minors on Monday.

The Leafs won 7-4 on Monday.

That same night, Nashville defeated the New York Islanders in overtime 5-4.

The Predators are 32-12-7 overall and are 8-1-1 in their last 10 games.

The Leafs are 31-19-5 overall and are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games.
