I'd like to know

Tell me, what you you see

in his message of chaos, not reality,

that's for sure. You're Kool-Aid clouded eyes

don't see a hateful man who's anything but wise,

spouting anger, spouting distrust, spouting intolerance,

makes no difference to you, truth never stood a chance

against what you wanted to see, a wise man pushing the buttons,

in reality a court jester, an idiot, and a glutton

Not for food, although he is that too--no, for power,

adulation, acceptance, as he sits in his ivory tower,

spinning alternate with the ease of a con man

His truth is a beach, every lie, a grain of sand

So, tell me how do you see through those rose-colored glasses,

His lies like a drug of delusion to some in the masses

Why do you think that anyone who disagrees with you is delusional?

So are you saying that upward of 40 percent of Americans are delusional?
