Aside the steady fire, slowly radiating warmth throughout the cozy cabin living room like a constant reminder of better days, lay a woman of about 30. With flames accentuating fair skin and her now messy blonde hair radiating from the firelight, she clutches the Agatha Christie crime novel in her right hand, breathing evenly onto the wolf-skin carpet. Far off in the contentment of wistful dreams, her shadow dances along the room, as if restless from the winter winds caressing the frosted window panes. Snowflakes pirouette along the frame, as if wishing to join her in slumber, and slowly melt away into the serenity of sleep.
