It rained again, the way it did before

With same hotness in its feel and intensity in roar

But something was different as it was compelled to be so

It didn’t remind me of someone I had forgotten a long ago

What was that then; who was in the gleam of water on my window frame

Perhaps not the one for whom my love was nothing but a game

Someone was there who I knew a short ago

gentleman’s stature and glow

my locks hanging, to touch his face

My fingers voyaged from that profound sea just to draft and trace

Slowly and gradually the tiny drops conjured up a sketch

To feel that expression, my fingers strained and stretched!

Those big brown eyes, I still remember something unique and sole

Something exceptional, something matchless on the whole!

The liquid in his eyes seemed to be a streak from the oceans, so beguiling

I witnessed it speaking, laughing, talking and smiling!

My heart jingled, my eyes twinkled and shone

Between I and him, there was silent loud all alone!

All of a sudden, the sky sneezed in bursting rage

I was again in the dark; captive in cage

There was no rain, there wasn’t even a drop

And it all seemed to be the life’s best part’s crop

We had a talk for hours, hand in hand

I wished to tell my friends, but I thought no one could understand…
