Will was watching tv in his room while thinking about Alexis. It had been a few days since their fight and they haven't talked since other then Alexis telling him that she was leaving. He was fighting with himself those past few days trying to decide on if he should ask her. Yes he apologized but he felt like him asking her this would be a bad move. "Should I ask her?" he asked himself. Will sighed and ran his hands through his hair before making his decision. He looked at his watch seeing that he didn't have much time left so he hurried up and tugged his shoes on before running out the door and starting up his truck.

Alexis arrived at the airport shortly not knowing that her boyfriend Will was coming after her. She pulled her scarlett red hair into a ponytail, laced up her brown hiking boots, and grabbed her bag before walking inside. Will checked his watch seeing he didn't have much time as he raced to the airport only to get stuck in traffic. "OH COME ON!" he said as he slammed his palm on the wheel flinching when the horn sounded. He pulled his hat farther down as to avoid the glares of the parents in the suv beside him. Once traffic was clear he drove farther and pulled up into the parking lot of the airport. He grabbed his keys quickly locking his truck before running inside.

Alexis was waiting in line to board the airplane when Will finally found her. "Alexis!" he called out to get her attention but she didn't hear him as she was scrolling through her phone until at last she heard his familiar voice. She turned around looking in the direction that his voice came from and smiled a little when she saw him. Will stopped in front of her starting to realize the crowd of people that was watching them curiously. He took a deep breath before looking back at her "Alexis I know that I told you I didn't want to see you after what happened and believe me when I say this. I regret really but I had to change that. I had to come and see you before you left."

Alexis looked at him curiously "Will why? Why come see me now?" she asked. Will hesitated before answering her "I just... there is something I need to ask you." he said before getting down on one knee before her. Alexis was confused about what he was doing holding an envelope out to her "Will? What is this all about it?" she asked when he finally answered. He was nervous to ask her those four small words knowing that they could make the biggest difference in their lives. "First things first" he said getting up and handing her the envelope. "Take this and don't read it until you get on the plane." he said with a smile. She raised an eyebrow at him before taking the envelope knowing their was something else he wanted to ask her. "What else Will? I know you have something else to ask me so what is it." Will smiled as he walked closer to her and looked in her eyes "What's the wifi password?".

Alexis laughed knowingly as the crowd dispersed. "You are such an idiot sometimes" she said before telling him the wifi password. "Yes but I'm your idiot" he said with a smile before kissing her goodbye. "Don't forget to call me when you get there. Are we still skyping as well?" he asked curiously. "Of course now get out of here before I miss my flight you doofus!" she smiled as she hugged him one last time before leaving him.

This was great!! Truly amazing work hblovecraft. My attention was already caught up in the summary of the story which it would trigger you to read the story. At first I thought it was a cliche plot but it made me wrong, not spoiling the ending :) I love the comedic side of the story it works really really well. I know it's a short story and the pupose of it is for the readers to create the ending sometimes. Still I'm very eager to find out from the writer what was that object will gave however I'll leave this me because I've already created a conclusion. Overall it is a simple sweet story with a great plot.

Keep up the work my friend! :D

Thanks Ramon I am glad you like it! If you really want to know I can tell you what was in the envelope but then the surprise might be ruined :) I like to leave things for the readers to figure out on their own or create a story for it on their own.

Okay....very clever! Not the four word question I was expecting, but one that brought a smile. Nice one, hb!

Thanks Hullabaloo22 I am glad you liked it! I thought I would make this a little different and add some humor into it. I thought it would be different from what I usually write and I definitely like how it came out!

This is a wonderful little story. The ending wasn't quite what I had in mind, but I liked that. I was a little iffy about where you started the story, as it's hard to get to know characters or the situation properly when you start in the middle. The summary pretty much explained what was going on anyway, haha, but the ending to it with the questions about whether Will will make it or not is always good in summaries I feel :D But yeah, I liked this story all the same and it was a nice read. Great job :D
