The constellon Ferantus had been assigned the very special task of overseeing all the worlds of the cosmos, and report back to the rest of the collective, but this task proved difficult after the Champion of Chaos had hidden away many of the worlds under his charge.

Although Ferantus had created avatars on all worlds that had a direct link to the observer, he was unable to pinpoint their exact locations, as the Champion had done more than just physically move those worlds.

One such world had previously been bathed in potent cosmic energies, after the constellon Ranquillion exploded right next to it after the extraterrestrials attacked the universe. The very ground was saturated with arcane and spiritual energies.

This world however, which was later named after Ranquillion, already had living creatures on it long before the arrival of the titanborn, as a result of the spiritual energies that was already all around the cosmos.

The creatures on this world was nothing like the constellon race however, as they were incapable of living outside the boundaries of their world.

Foxes, wolves, cats and countless other animals were the natural inhabitants of Ranquillion, and a handful of these creatures became infused with the contellular fragments that was left of Ranquillion, increasing their mental capabilities greatly, as well as changing their physical forms into more humanoid ones, apart from a limited few.

These new creatures became known as the aspects, god-like spirit beings whom roamed the lands of Ranquillion. Because the animals that the aspect originated from was created from the spirit energies that was already abundant in the cosmos, they were especially attuned to the spirit energies released from Ranquillion, the constellon, after he exploded.

The arcane energies released by him however, did not go into the aspects. Instead, it filled the very air, as the original inhabitants of Ranquillion originated because of spirit energies, and thus had no affinity for the arcane at all.

Some who did have an affinity for the arcane however, was the titanborn. They were able to draw arcane energies into themselves, thus giving them a wide amount of magical powers. This kind of empowerment however had its limits, as the arcane energies that they were able to absorb was unfocused, there were no places that had any more arcane than other, except for streams of arcane that is nearly impossible to sense.

Since arcane is one of two energies that make up cosmic energy, which is the true origin of the titanborn, this also enabled them to draw spirit energies from the very earth itself, which gave some of them mastery over the elements of the world.

Mastering either power requires years of practice however, so very few utilizes both arcane and spirit energies, and combining the two to create cosmic energy can only be done by a cosmic race, such as the constellons.
