Let my eyes tell you a tale,

I’ll try my best to never fail.

I’ll tell a story without sound,

I am relieved you are around.

You make me weak but also strong,

To love like this it could be wrong.

A sinner’s tale; untold desires,

The passion burns like wildfires.

In secrecy with desperate eyes,

We will come up with those white lies.

And we shall dance and intertwine,

With shivers up and down my spine.

‘I can’t believe that I am here’,

It’s what I whisper in your ear.

I’ll let our passion take the score,

While we indulge forevermore.

Thank you, my dear Just a play of words, that's all. The poem is Fiction after all. My inspiration is starving.

Wow, you write with enchanting words. Seriously, I'm fighting back a chill from running up my spine, this is a beautifully wicked piece. There feels like a variety of emotions swirling through this piece, but the passion is definitely the most palpable. That last stanza is so good! Those last two lines are quite the naughty ones. What a tale you've told with this one, Lisbeth! You've painted with more than words in this piece.

You seem back from the ashes of sadness, and definitely a fiction piece about being a sinner helps. It's very seductive as it is mesmerising, so I applaud you for writing a piece a little more daring than usual, because if it helps you feel in a better place, then writing about any subject is perfect. Maybe for your fiction pieces going forward, adding a little sin can help your inspiration more. This is delicious I must say, and it is flirty and seductive. It's fiction, so it's just a little fun, and a damn good poem. Your rhyming is a passionate temptation, and they fit perfectly with the seductiveness of the poem. Great writing here Lisbeth :)

I saw this when I signed on, thought it was a book! But it's a poem! And I love poems....particularly about secret sins and love affairs. "In secrecy with desperate eyes"...my favorite line! You have a nice meter in this piece, very seductive!
