It’s graduation night, and you see everyone for the last time. It’s sad to know that this time has finally come. Some are off to college, the workforce, or the army. As you brush past the families trying to hold your tears back. You reach your best friend.

”We did it.” I say.

She sighs, “Yeah we finally made it.”

”It’s not the end for us, we can make it through.”

”What’s a little distance going to do?”

Just like that, it hit me that I will not longer see my classmates anymore. Some I may never see again, and as I look across the room I feel the tear roll down my face.
