It was late evening, the sky a dark purple, the sound of festival music echoing in the background.

Sitting by himself in a dimly lit room was Tsunami, a stressed look on his face. He was holding a piece of paper in front of his face, staring intensely at it, reading over what was written on it over and over, trying to memorize it. Tomorrow was a huge day for him and everyone else in the group, and he wanted to make sure that he got everything perfect. If he screwed up his speech, Kathrina would most likely kill him – that was if Elijah didn’t get to him first. As much as he wanted to go and join the party outside, he wanted to make sure he remembered everything first.

But he wasn’t going to get to finish.

Suddenly, a huge blinding flash of golden light exploded at the far end of his room – he immediately dropped the paper, grabbed his sword from his bed and pointed it at the light, waiting.

‘’Greetings…’’ came an eerie, echoing voice.

Frowning, Tsunami slightly lowered his sword and stared at the light.

‘’You and I have been acquainted before, but you would not remember that… I am Kasumi, celestial Angel of Guardian Watcher… Kathrina’’ the voice stated.

Confused, Tsunami frowned, ‘’Kathrina?’’

‘’Guardian Watcher Kathrina, yes. She calls upon you: there is an urgent matter that requires your assistance’’

Tsunami shook his head, ‘’w-what? Kathrina needs my help? Where is she?!’’

The voice sighed irritably, ‘’not the Kathrina from this world, another Kathrina. You must come-‘’

‘’I’m not going anywhere with you’’ he frowned, pointing his sword back at the light.

‘’You do not really have a choice in the matter. A Realm far from here is falling apart, and only you, along with a group of specific individuals can save it from destruction. I would rather you come with me willingly, but if I must force you, I will’’

Glaring at the light, Tsunami thought for a moment. There was another Realm that required his assistance to save it? For some reason, it made him think of his own Realm’s destruction… he didn’t really give it much thought after that. If he could save another Realm from facing the same fate as his own, he would.

He nodded, ‘’fine, hut how long will this take? I kinda have a busy day tomorrow’’

Suddenly, a glowing golden hand stretched out from within the light, ‘’you will be returned before the day begins’’

Sighing, Tsunami glanced out of his window, spotting the festival in the background. Then, he reached down and picked up a blank scroll and a quill from the floor. Quickly, he scribbled something down, and as he placed the note on his bed, he sheathed his sword and walked over to the light.

‘’So… what exactly will I be doing?’’

‘’That will be told once you arrive – ‘’

Before Tsunami could refuse, the hand grabbed his own, and in a blinding flash of golden light, he vanished…
