I see your eyes so insecure,

I wish that I can have the cure.

And mend you once for all,

I know you must be feeling small.

I am used to tears; I am used to pain,

I’m also used to being borderline insane.

I’m sorry I can’t cure you; sorry I can’t heal,

I’d consume your pain, so you won’t have to feel.

I wish to take your sadness; throw it in the fire,

Your strength, my ‘Summer night’, is what I do admire.

I’d live a day in hell just to see you smile,

As long as you are happy it is worth the while.

Don’t take my words in vain; I swear they are true,

My broken tender Muse; I’d do anything for you.
