His customs, foreign to me.
His home, unwelcoming to me.
His friends, unknown to me.
His past, forbidden to me.
His love, exists not for me.
These things I know.
These things I accept.
These things I cannot change.
My life, I would give to him.
My heart, I would open to him.
My hopes, I would share with him.
My fears, I would trust with him.
These things I know.
These things I accept.
These things I cannot change.
His past, forbidden to me.
His love, exists not for me.
These things I cannot change.

Wed, April 11th, 2018 2:48amIt reminds me of something I keep thinking..is it their politeness , how long will they stay? how will I bear it when they go away..how much can I give or take before they get wary of me..
