The slightly overdramatic reaction to a proposed rekindling of a short lived romance which was ended in unkind words that hit a little too close to an already damaged misunderstood girl. Young and
passionate to the point of self-destruction was my MO. So instead of simply saying no i scribbled this out between classes.

I look at you and ask what is it I did wrong. And steady fast you answer with words both cold and strong. And to myself I wonder how is I loved thee. A heart so cold and empty that it fails my soul to see. And to myself I wonder how is that I loved thee. Silent tears I Cry For You did my heart deny. Your empty words so do recide in to the truth they try to hide. And over and over this is said you my dear are already dead. And so knowing this I leave you to your cold and lifeless heart. To your lonely empty bed. And tears no longer curse my eyes for I have closed you off. So be it then my heartless friend with blinded Eyes by Illusions lead. you're careless steps upon Hearts do tread. And maybe one day you'll wake to see that love is greater by far than thee, much greater Much Greater by far than thee.
