one thought after another passes by...who doesn't know that situation? who doesn't feel like they need to be more aware of their own thoughts and feelings, but just can't concentrate on them or
articulate them to others or possible to themselves? this poem is an exercise for my own mind, trying to explain and paint my thoughts more cleary.

Complete Stillness.

Silence, Relaxation, let gravity do its thing

Listen to the soft piano music

and fall

into a deep ocean of indigos and purples

a dash of colour in the darkness

no pain, no trauma, just peace

and breath

in and out

like a lion

sitting in the sweltering heat

of a cold, night-time savannah

living its life under the stars

for they are the only witnesses

of this colourful explosion

reds and oranges, green radiating from my heart

blue in my throat, let me speak

truth to be told

secrets to keep

places to go, places to be

but keep that indigo within me

living my life in a purple dream
