An hour falls off the clock,

It’s too hot to sleep with socks.

The sun hangs around a little longer,

Its rays start to get stronger.

Clothes begin to disappear,

As the sky begins to clear.

All the flowers take center stage,

As we begin to turn the page.

If the fields are a stencil,

Spring fills it in with watercolor.

The wind today is so gentle,

Starting to get a hint of the summer.

Temperatures rising way too fast,

Hotter everyday on the weather forecast.

How you dress makes me flabbergast,

The possibilities in Spring are vast.

March is the time for the big thaw,

And in April, it rains everyday.

All the flowers like to bloom in May,

June’s got the years longest day.

Cold hearts begin to thaw out,

This is what spring is all about.

Everything starts to come back to life,

Here’s to a season with no strife,

Maybe this time I’ll meet my wife,

Time to increase the quality of life.

An hour falls off the clock,

It’s too hot to sleep with socks.

The sun hangs around a little longer,

Its rays start to get stronger.

Clothes begin to disappear,

As the sky begins to clear.

All the flowers take center stage,

As we begin to turn the page.
