Grandpa if asked a write a book about you, about what we shared and about the memories that are now a treasure, this what the precis will look like...

In my 1st chapter

I will demark sharply the kind of person you were...

A giant pine, magnificent and not so old. Above all I wouldn't forget to tell the reader, you were my favorite grandpa.

I couldn't ask for more.

In my 2nd chapter

My childhood memories will knock harder to be ignored...

I remember when I was young (younger than I'm today) we could visit you in Kericho, I enjoyed seeing the small white houses in the tea estates and monkeys too, you could buy me gifts, some I still possess today. My childhood memories have this highlighted as one of the best.

I couldn't ask for more.

In my 3rd chapter

My favorite and most motivating...

When I was in high school, how you could visit me together with grandma, bring me shopping, spend the day with me and encourage me to work smart always. Mum calls you all round dad, I call ou all round grandpa.

I couldn't ask for more.

In my 4th chapter

It feels like yesterday but it is a memory now,

You'd always call while I'm in school to know how I'm fairing on and it was so obvious academic excellence is one thing you wouldn't forget to mention.

You also wouldn't forget to tell me to remain a good person, upholding to moral values. Because at the end of the day they will tell us education is the key to success but forget to tell us that with dignity, integrity, humility, and respect we have a bunch of keys.

I couldn't ask for more.

Grandpa a precis shouldn't say much.

Grandpa...

Pages cannot hold what we shared,

Pages can be numbered,

Pages don't last longer than memories.

Grandpa if our love could save you, you could have lived forever.

A giant pine, magnificent and not so old,

Where it had dauntless stood was loneliness and void.

Till we meet again... Rest in Peace.

It's exactly two months down.

I MISS YOU SO MUCH, GRANDPA.
