Thanks to goalie, Frederik Andersen, the Toronto Maple Leafs finallty ended their four game losing streak last night.

The Leafs defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-2 and Andersen stopped 38 shots.

Kasperi Kapanen put Toronto up 1-0 at 9:10 of the first period.

At 19:13, Nazam Kadri made it 2-0.

The Leafs went up 4-0 in the second period with power play goals by Kadri and Mitch Marner.

Pittsburgh finally got on the scoreboard when their captain, Sidney Crosby, scored at 16:24 of the third period.

Patric Hornqvist closed the gap at 4-2 at 17:12.

With just 58 seconds to go in regulation, Patrick Marleau scored an empty netter.

Leaf's defenseman, Morgan Rielly had three assists last night.

Toronto hosts the Dallas Stars on Wednesday, (March 14).
